My hope is that questions, comments, and debates about the Drawing Things Together posts will not only take on a life of their own, but be visible here for others to join in.

However, discussion of this first post happened over Twitter, so I wanted to share it here for those of you who didn’t happen to follow it. In reverse chronological order, here it is:

DrDanish: @jennamcjenna It’s mostly what @adamaig said. Though my goal was the analysis, not any specific interpretation (though I have mine!)7:06 PM Oct 20th from TweetDeck in reply to jennamcjenna

adamaig: @jdanish @drdanish #p544 hmm then i need to work on my interp of [5] :-) 7:01 PM Oct 20th from Nambu in reply to jdanish

DrDanish: @adamaig Fascinating! I was actually intending the labels to be citations for larger units within the image but I’m thrilled with that read!7:02 PM Oct 20th from TweetDeck

adamaig: @jennamcjenna #p544 i understand the question as asking what is the relationship that unifies these different takes on the same field/topic6:59 PM Oct 20th from Nambu

adamaig: @DrDanish [5] is under the didactic learner, and [6] marks the candy seller’s formalism failures6:57 PM Oct 20th from Nambu in reply to DrDanish

adamaig: @DrDanish it looks like you didn’t label the street kid candy calculations or the label doesn’t appear properly placed for me .6:55 PM Oct 20th from Nambu in reply to DrDanish

jennamcjenna: @DrDanish idk…each approach seems like its own equation, and not part of a large final sum…but perhaps i misunderstand.6:51 PM Oct 20th from web in reply to DrDanish

DrDanish: @adamaig Missed [7] because you see an un-cited idea in there, or because you think I missed one of the big ideas? Either answer FTW!6:48 PM Oct 20th from TweetDeck in reply to adamaig

adamaig: @DrDanish The current illustration is interpretable, but you missed [7] if I read it correctly. Very dense illustration. #p5446:40 PM Oct 20th from Nambu in reply to DrDanish

DrDanish: #p544 : Silly experimental idea tied to my current class. Let me know what you think! http://bit.ly/Gl2IU6:25 PM Oct 19th from TweetDeck
